From the quarry-tiled kitchen diner, with solid beech worktops and table, a French door leads your own garden area with garden furniture and the nearby parking area.On the first floor, a large landing, graced with an ancient oak screen, leads to a pretty double bedroom (five foot bed) with ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is a comfortably large room with wall beams, stripped pine floor and very pretty views across the terrace and gardens. Adaptable bedding provides a super king six-foot double or the double bed can be un–linked to give two three-foot twin beds. Afterabout 1 (one) mile turn left at the sign to Stockland / Wambrook, thenfollow signs to Membury.On reaching Membury, (you can stop at Post Office stores for basic supplies.) Then go through the village and past the Trout Farm.Proceed for about half a mile and you will find us on the right.Travelling from Axminster :(Range of shops including “River Cottage” in the Square which stocks local foods.)From the George Hotel, take the road sign-posted to Membury andproceed out of Axminster, over the railway crossing.Take the road to Membury signed for heavy goods vehicles.On reaching top of ridge note road on left signed Tolcis but do NOT take it.Turn next left (unsigned but white cottage on the corner – if you reach a left turn for Green Down, you have gone too far).After half mile or so turn sharp right at junction.After 300 yards, turn sharp left up our drive.
