West Aish Farm can trace its roots back to the 15th Century! Once a busy home farm, the historic working buildings have been lovingly converted to provide cosy holiday accommodation in a truly stunning setting. Our Stable cottage has 2 bedrooms (a double and a twin) and open plan living, dining and kitchen space. The cottage is all on one level. The cottage is comfortable and homely (see all the comments in our visitors books) and well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The Stable has a woodburning fire to keep you cosy on cooler evening and stunning views from its own south facing terrace Whilst here you will enjoy total peace and tranquility (have you forgotten what silence feels like?); yet you are ideally situated to explore the many attractions of Devon and Cornwall - whether it's walking on the Moors, a visit to the stunning coastlines or even a day at the Eden Project. LocationMorchard Bishop is right in the middle of Devon, deep in dairy farming country. From the Stable terrace the view reaches to Dartmoor (about 15 miles away) accross beautiful open countryside with just a couple of houses in it. Morchard Bishop boasts the longest row of thatched cottages in England, and has a great pub, the London Inn, and about 45 miles of footpaths.
